I was born on May 29th of 1993, at 9:15 AM, in the city of Cordoba, Veracruz, in Mexico. My parents are Jose Carlos Sarur Zanatta and Yuriko Sasaguri de Sarur, and my grandparents are Jose Sarur Neme and Nunila Zanatta de Sarur, Takeo Oscar Sasaguri Buendia and Florinda Cobos de Sasaguri. I have Arab and Italian ascendancy on my father´s family, and Japanese and Mexican on my mother´s family.

I am 11 years old and studying the 6th grade of Primary Education on the "CIMA Educativa College". This is my first year in this school, I was before at the "Bilingual Institute Charles Dickens", but I didn´t like it, so I asked my parents for a change of school. Since the first class day I like it, specially the environment and the classes. It is bilingual too, but here we have Laboratory and we can experiment in the Natural Sciences class, furthermore there is a Library and a Swimming Pool.

Since I was younger I have been interested very much in cars, so much that almost all of my toys are cars, and my father taught me to drive since I was 8 years old. On September 23rd 2001 was the first time he let me drive alone in a VW Golf with standard transmission. Now I drive frequently, specially when we are in the ranch, there I drive the Suburban and even the trucks. My father is teaching me to do some maintenance and little fixes to the cars.

One year old and driving Driving the VW Golf
I was less than one year old and I liked to drive electrical toy cars.
In the VW Golf one of the first time my father let me drive alone. Now I drive even trucks no matter if they have automatic or standard transmission, and I like it very much!.

I like to read stories and novels for kids, specially adventure or fantasy, as the "Treasure Island" or the "Lord of the Rings". Sometimes in the school break when I am not in a mood to play, I rather go to the Library to read. I too like to go to the movies and enjoy films like the "Harry Potter" series, "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Shrek", "Finding Nemo", and many more of the same style.

What I like the most in my spare time is to play in my computer; I am a fan of "The Sims" (I have almost all the expansion disks), and I like specially the "Superstar" expansion, creating characters that become famous celebrities. I like another games as "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit", "Grand Theft Auto VC", "Rally Championship", "Monkey Island", I have almost all the "Tomb Raider" series (except the "Lost Artifact"), I like very much to explore in "Ultima 7": "Black Gate" and "Serpent Isle", although is an old game, it is excellent for me; and to play "Quake" 2 and 3 Multiplayer in the network my father installed in the house. My parents and I play and have much fun.

On vacations I like when we go out of the city, for example, we went to Chiapas and Tabasco, and I enjoyed very much, specially the Palenque site, my favorite. Recently we went to San Juan de Ulua in Veracruz, and really liked the dungeons, they are impressive. I also like to go to my grandparents ranch, there is a pretty and big river (Coatzacoalcos) and we can swim and horseback ride almost every day. There are some pools with waterfalls in the middle of the jungle where we go to swim. As it is a mountainous zone we can explore amazing places and I have had chance to see wild animals as deer, armadillos, serpents, eagles, turtles, iguanas, and more.

The San Juan de Ulua Fort in Veracruz. The dungeons are damp and gloomy. I like them!
My father took this photo inside Pakal´s tomb in Palenque, Chiapas.

This last vacations we went to Oaxaca, and liked and enjoyed it very much. I had been in very interesting places but I was disappointed because in Monte Alban you are not allowed to pass or climb many of the pyramids or tombs, so we just went to "look". The places I liked the most were Santo Domingo museum, The Convent of Cuilapam, Yagul, Mitla and the impressive Tule Tree. I really enjoyed the food and the ice creams...  they are delicious!!!, specially flavors like chocolate, sorbete and red pitahaya.

I have several cousins, but almost everyone live outside Cordoba, My cousins Masaki, Hiroshi, Naoki, Hiroki and Kenji live in Japan. Marisa and Marcos live in Jalapa. Marien is studying in the University of North Texas, USA, and I miss her a lot. Estefania and Manuel now live in Veracruz. Felipe is my only cousin living in Cordoba, but he is much older than me. Some other cousins live in Puebla and Mexico, but they are older than me and I seldom meet them.

My best friends in Cordoba are Eloy and Sanel Diaz, Alessandra Diaz, Karla Diaz, Juan Andres Bueno, Cynthia and Carim Perez, Andres Blanco, and my classmates Pamela, José Mario, Alejandro, Rocío, Eduardo, Carlos Javier, Emanuel, Rubén, Dyanelys and Jessica.

Almost every weekend my parents and I like to visit the vicinity of Cordoba, so we have been in very interesting places. When we do it we invite some of my friends and take the bikes, balls, food and we make some real fun picnics.

Here I am with my mother in Tuxpango, it is an old Power Plant. The river´s name is Blanco and that day it was very troubled. Even the brigde rumbled!

My favorite sports are swimming and biking. Recently I have been with my parents and my uncle Luis exploring caves and kayaking and I liked very much, now my uncle let me kayaking alone in the rapids. My uncle is a professional diver and he likes adventure and knows many things of the sea, exploration, hunting and bats. He has three Beagle dogs named Wacko, Nico and Rayo. In CIMA the sports class is precisely swimming, my favorite. When we have bad weather conditions, then the sports we practice are athletics and basketball.
